Project Description
The complex was a single-story facility that included various components such as raw material storage, a factory, finished goods storage, a turbine and garage building, offices, chemical storage, and accommodations for the manager and assistant managers. It utilized a combination of individual footings and strip foundations. The raw material, factory, and finished goods storage areas were constructed using a steel pre-engineered building system imported from the United Kingdom. In addition to the buildings, the project encompassed over 10,000 square meters of internal roads, a river intake, an intermediate storage tank, a fire water sump, an effluent collection sump, and an effluent treatment tank. Spanning 6.5 acres, the project required significant rock blasting and earth filling, resulting in a gross floor area of 5,127 square meters. The final contract price upon completion was Rs. 70.0 million, excluding aluminum and electrical work, as well as materials supplied by the client, including steel, the pre-engineered building system, roofing sheets, and Euro bond ceilings.
